After another long hiatus, I'm here again. I don't have an outfit to post, but rather an exciting announcement to make! After thinking about it for far too long, I have finally opened a new etsy shop. I'm very excited about it and couldn't wait to share the news!
Leading Articles Vintage is the name and one-of-a-kind items for you is the game! I've been adding new things weekly since I've opened and there's lots more where that came from. Please go on over and check it out. I hope you find something you love!

The New Year
Well it's been quite a while! My poor blog has been neglected and though I'm here today, I'm not sure what direction I will be heading in with The Ettatorials. Time will tell...... Today however, I felt the need to write and so here I am!
I wore this outfit on New Year's Eve. The top was a gift from my niece for Christmas. It's vintage and she found it at a garage sale. She had it all cleaned up and pressed and it fits me perfectly! Definitely a new favorite that will last me through the summer.
I hope that you all have some great adventures planned for 2012. I have quite a few good ones on my agenda! Happy New Year!

Playing Catch Up - The Bachelorette Party
Since I've been offline for a while, I've decided to share outfits from a few very important days/nights that have gone by. The first is my Bachelorette Party. For our night out, we had dinner at The Park and then walked The Highline and took in all of the city lights.
I shopped and shopped for the perfect outfit and then finally found this adorable little romper in my niece's closet! I borrowed it for the night and it turned out to be just the right thing for me to wear. It was comfortable and stylish. I wore leopard heels and a leopard clutch and finished it all off with a flower in my hair.
What an incredible night shared with wonderful people!

Tribal Feathers
I pulled this outfit together this morning and I love how eclectic it is! The pink feathers, tribal print shorts and cowboy boots all live in a world of their own, but together the contrast in colors, patterns and styles works.
I made my hair feathers in all of five minutes a few nights ago. A hair clip, hot glue and some feathers and voila!

In The Mix
I'm starting to mix in some fall pieces with my summer wardrobe. The versatility of this skirt got me through the warm weather. The bow belt can be tied in front or back and this skirt is easily dressed up or down. My top is a thin cotton with long sleeves which makes it a great in-between-weather shirt.
The weather is supposed to be in the 70s this week, so I will probably be pairing up some more fall and summer pieces together.

His & Hers
My husband and I attended our friends' wedding at a winery this weekend. It was the perfect occassion to dress up and get to wear our wedding shoes again. The wedding was organic and beautiful. Gourmet food was served family style and water with lemon was held in mason jars at each place setting. The DJ mixed music from the 50s and also played lots of hits from the 80s. The most fun though, was the photo booth set up. We had a blast making funny faces and various poses. Check out some of our ridiculousness here.
John (my husband) is a great sport and always up for a photoshoot with me, so taking our own shots was a breeze! I'm definitely considering additional posts of the two of us.

Ready For Fall, Almost
It's a beautiful, sunny day but there is a little chill in the air. Fall is definitely on it's way. I'm just about ready to take out my tights, but I wanted to get at least one more bare-legged day in while I could. I'm sure later tonight when the temperature drops, I'll be reaching for some fleece sweats. Until then, I'll let my legs soak up some sun.
Tomorrow we're headed out to the wineries for a wedding. Can't wait to share in the festivities!
Hope you have something fun planned this weekend.

Seeing Stars
When I spotted this DVF dress on the rack at Savers, I thought that maybe I had read the label wrong, but that same day I also picked up the Tory Burch tunic and Marc by Marc Jacobs sweatshirt that I currently have for sale on ebay, so I guess it was just a good thrift day for me. I'm not a brand fanatic, but finding gems like these at a great price is definitely a treat!
It was fun to figure out all of the layering options there are for this dress. Today, I choose one of my favorite little button downs. The cap sleeves were the perfect addition to create a pulled together outfit for work.

Tory, Marc and Mabye Diane
I have the top two items listed on ebay - so get them while they're hot! The third, I'm not sure I want to part with yet. Let's see what's in the stars for me.

Confetti
I bought this dress for my honeymoon and have worn it a few times since then. It's super compfortable and I love the way the polkadots make it look like I walked under tons of falling confetti. It was a great buy at only $15. I figure I'll try and get as much use out of it as I can before the weather starts to change over.

It's Been A Long Time
With all of the wedding planning and my actual (wonderful) wedding and honeymoon, I had to put this blog off to the side for a bit, but now I'm back and ready to share my outfits and style ideas again.
I bought these shorts at the shop where I work and they were such a great investment! I've worn them so much over the summer and with tights underneath, they will carry me over to the cooler months. I was worried that I might see a ton of people in something similar, but I've yet to spot any. My necklace is a souvenir from my Hawaiian honeymoon. My husband and I each bought one for $5.
I'm really excited to be back here to share my daily looks and look forward to the Fall season.

Comfy In Chucks
I tried on three different pairs of shoes today. Green, blue and red. They all looked really good, but then I thought about how cute (and comfortable) my Chucks would look paired with this outfit. I had a vision in my head of everything together, but the end result looked even cuter than I had imagined.
The weather is really warm today, so this light jacket is just enough.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
